Local women meet to form Great River Republican Women and receive National Charter as 12th Club in Minnesota.

September, 2021

The Minnesota Federation of Republican Women (MNFRW) President Kathy Tingelstad, and Past  President Margaret Flower, recently installed four local Club leaders with an Oath of Office Ceremony. They also presented their Charter as the 12th organized Republican Women’s Club in Minnesota. This group of women began meeting informally one year ago, and established a mission statement which aligns with traditional Conservative/Christian/Republican principles. After meeting the past year, and putting forth their application to the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) the following women were sworn-in as Founding Officers of the “Great River Republican Women’s Club.”

Jane Drazkowski, President; Kathy Goggin, Treasurer; Angie Edquist, Membership/Communication Secretary; and Pam Danielle, Recording Secretary.

The platform for both the NFRW and MNFRW is “Election Integrity.”  Members of the Great River Republican Women’s Club participate in educational, motivational, and leadership sessions with local legislators, as well as Nationally recognized Republican leaders.

The group welcomes women from the Minnesota counties of Dakota, Goodhue, and Wabasha, as well as Pierce and Pepin Counties in Wisconsin. Meetings are held monthly, on the third Thursday at 5:30 pm, at the Red Wing Elks Club. A meal is available.
